I am always seeking out new recipes. From a stack of magazines in the cottage, I found this recipe for Chicken Kofta with Pomegranate Rice in an issue of Real Simple. When I travel to rental houses, I prefer to bring herbs and spices. The basket you see next to the refrigerator holds all of my favorites from home. These Middle Eastern ground chicken patties call for cumin and cinnamon; a great flavor combination.

Giada Trinidad Stew Chicken Recipe

This is some famous chicken. I found this Marry Me Chicken recipe and the photos of it had me falling fast. I can definitely see why this is called "Marry Me Chicken"...it may have the power to elicit a marriage proposal.

After I watched "The Bachelor" last night and saw him meet the parents and talk a lot about proposals, it only seems fitting that I share this "Marry Me Chicken" recipe. This chicken recipe may just be the lucky charm!

If you loved this Cioppino recipe I would appreciate it so much if you would give this recipe a star review! Also, be sure to snap a picture of your finished stew and share it with me on Instagram using the hashtag #platingsandpairings and tagging me @platingsandpairings.

A coq au vin is a classic French stew in which chicken is braised slowly in red wine and a little brandy to yield a supremely rich sauce filled with tender meat, crisp bits of bacon, mushrooms and burnished pearl onions. Traditional recipes call for a whole cut-up chicken, but using all dark meat gives you a particularly succulent dish without the risk of overcooked white meat. However, if you would rather substitute a whole cut-up bird, just add the breasts in the last 30 minutes of simmering. If you want to skip the croutons for garnish you can, but they do add a lovely, buttery crunch alongside the soft, simmered meat and vegetables. This recipe is part of The New Essentials of French Cooking, a guide to definitive dishes every modern cook should master.

I would like to take a moment, however, to urge you to pick up a bottle at some point and give it a try. It is a fragrant blend of rosemary, marjoram, thyme, and savory and adds just the right touch to pilaf. It is also wonderful in beef stew and roast chicken.

The beer steams the chicken from the inside and the result is a perfectly roasted, succulent and juicy chicken with spicy and crispy skin. This is an easy recipe to be enjoyed frequently with family and friends, and a glass or two of our exceptional vinos.

This velvety chicken stew is the ultimate Guatemalan comfort food! Often considered the national dish of Guatemala, pepián de pollo features tender chicken pieces in a lightly-spiced tomato, toasted pumpkin seed and chile sauce.
